A little about the founders of studio.d

studio.d was founded by Derek Nunez.

Derek is a CAD Specialist with 15+ years of experience. During that time he had the privilege of working with some very talented people at award winning firms.  He’s spent time working, living, and growing in the Pacific Northwest, San Diego, San Francisco, Mexico, and Chile. A good portion of Derek’s professional growth came from the fact he had the privilege of being raised by a master craftsman. Derek’s father has built many custom homes and completed numerous masterful renovations. This exposure has been a valuable part of his training; enabling him to really understand a project, to be able to construct it in his mind as he builds it digitally on the computer.

All of this experience allows him to have a clear understanding of a project’s development process. This benefits studio.d Clients through all phases of the project, from design development through permit issuance. He also has experience working directly with clients, consultants, and contractors; being attentive to their involvement in the process while helping ensure that deadlines are met.

Couple this with his proficiency in using the latest in CAD, BIM, and 3D software and there is no doubt that studio.d would make a valuable member of your team.
